At Jerolim, we are dedicated to sustainable and organic farming, recognizing that nature is abundant with resources to nurture both the body and mind. In addition to our organic olive production, we harvest a diverse range of herbs and flowers from the stunning natural surroundings of Korčula Island.
Except from our fields of organic olive production, we also source a wide range of herbs and flowers, all from our beautiful surroundings on the island of Korčula.
Lavender, basil, rosemary, and sage are well-known to many, but rarer, unique blooms like Immortelle (smilje) and Lemon Verbena (limunovac) are more challenging to source and refine.
For years, we have passionately studied and mastered the art of extracting the healing properties and benefits of these hidden gems of nature.
Our essential oils are carefully distilled by hand at our small family distillery, with Jerolim overseeing the distillation process and Marita responsible for packaging and product design.
The pure oils are gently extracted through distillation using filtered rainwater from our own well. After distillation, the water that passes through the distillation pot, now enriched with traces of oil, becomes hydrosol.
This soothing "essential oil water," or hydrosol, is used in various skin and body treatments and is conveniently available in fine mist spray bottles.
Our family home, along with our small in-house shop, is located by the harbor at the entrance to the village of Vela Luka. Here, you’ll find not only our organic olive oil, essential oils, and hydrosols but also homemade marmalades, soaps, massage oils and natural perfume.
Nature is an oasis of peace and tranquility.
